I kind of want to try it for my own benefit on my pc, just because I want to make sure I get every last frame of each episode so they transition smoothly. A two and a half hour Haruhi film would be interesting, especially with openings and endings removed. |

By which I mean moments where Haruhi seems to be getting jealous or annoyed by the fact that Kyon likes Asahina and Nagato more. I actually think these more exaggerated emotions do a lot of good to the anime (even Kyon being angry all the time, it can actually build up to something). |

| Ed | Is there really a reason to be bothered by anyone calling this first or second season? Obviously the most recent episodes are showing material that we've already seen in the episode where they watch the movie they made, and considering how loosely the episodes can be shown the whole concept of season with Haruhi means very little at all. Rebroadcast, new season, finishing up the first season...it really doesn't matter.
Seriously, it doesn't matter. Don't get in a huff about it.

| anonymous | Some people care because officially Kadokawa/KyoAni have gone out of their way to say it's not a second season and there's evidence showing that they are indeed counting every single episode aired so far as 'one continuous season.' It's only the fans who ignored what was being said and shown that refer to it as the second season. |
