Desu-neDon't go with Lighttpd, there are memory fragmentation issues (think "memory leak" but more annoying) that the creator won't fix (probably because it's too hard for him). Go with Nginx, it's got equal-to-or-better performance, a smaller system footprint and doesn't have memory fragmentation issues.

Most of the anime Kuroneko watches, or supposedly is into anyways, uses a lot of natural instruments like violins, cellos, pianos, etc - and lack (mostly) any kind of "electronic" instrument. On the other hand, Kirino's animes seem to mostly use electronic instruments.

So I think the word "denpa" in this case acts perhaps as a pun on the fact that, while yes, it is "electronic" music, the anime itself, to Kuroneko, is just pure nonsense. Thus the word "denpa" probably has a double-meaning, the primary being "electronic music" in comparison to the music in Kuroneko's anime.

CrystalKaeruDenpa (denpa song/moe song) is a music genre. People who don't listen to and like denpa themselves tend to hate it, and obviously Kuroneko is one of them. Denpa isn't uncommon in anime and eroge openings.

Encode "was" indeed blurry, but I figured out what was tanking the detail and fixed it in the v2 encode, which by the way had absolutely nothing to do with gradfun2db's thresh it was something not really related to it.

The blurriness on low contrast lines happens when you resize it down to 1280x720. It was fine until I resized it basically. I did thorough comparisons myself post-ivtc without any filtering and basically determined the loss was due to resizing. I made sure my filtering didnt cause any further loss or as tiny as possible. It's just a very bad scene to make comparisons with since the lines are drawn in such a way there is loss on resize down.

But the resized TS (after IVTC) has no blurriness (spline36resize). Therefore it has definitely something to do with filtering.
