To Aru Majutsu no Index II 10
Today, of all days, Raze had to go traveling and leave me to TL this. I have far more witty things to put here but Katanagatari is kind of tying me up so you'll have to make do with just a link!
Index II ep 10
v0 because there are ts upload issues (still) so we couldn't get our own raw in time. Hopefully this won't affect the katanagatari release, but...

Katanagatari END!
I bet it's wicked text heavy... don't overwork yourself.
Big Thanks for Your Hard Work! You deserve it!
uppsss...it's share raw after all â”( ̄ー ̄)┌
v0 info is in the post and also most previous posts. They don't have good enough raw that's the issue, you still got your ep so just be happy.
Believe it or not, that info wasn't there earlier...
i want to pretent i am really nihogo desu fuck quality.
... because it looked like ass? Sure it wasn't exactly eye cancer but it was nowhere near the quality it should have been.
This show has been felling random this season. Not sure if its bad, but really all over the place.
... because it looked like ass? Sure it wasn't exactly eye cancer but it was nowhere near the quality it should have been.
Thank you for ues!!
moreover, please come

Nice release!
only casual encoders use megui pretty much. most of us use batch/cli along with avsp.
Yeah, Toudad looked especially retarded. It seems like, in this arc at least, the artists have been pretty lazy while the animators have been doing an impressive job.

I'm all for the death of XviD,since the damn thing is ancient but I'm asking for SD MKV or MP4 in return.
no it's not about not being able to watch it in HD,I don't think there are a lot more people nowadays that has a comp/lappy that can't play 720p if they can't they don't have a good codec or they're setting it wrong, a lot of people(including myself) get xvid to burn it to a dvd or use a media player to watch it in their large sized TV burning MKV files are a pain(not if it's hard-subbed ) specially with fansubs because they use .ass for their subs for more styling but the thing is dvd converters tend to mess it up since it only accepts .srt as a good subtitle file so there's no choice but to convert it to xvid/divx avi and many people may not know this but MKV files are only official in the fansubbing world digital companies(ex. Verbatim etc.) that makes media players don't make codecs to play MKV or even OGM(even thought it's outdated) AVI is still the official video format in the digital trading business... I'd get AVI over a 1080p MKV just so that I can watch anime in our giga sized HD TV using a media player...
Yup, but megui is very powerful and adapt to various situations, and it have a interface. so...
Can't you just pin up your oh-so-fast box to your TV? Every graphic card nowadays has either HDMI or DVI and HDTVs suppose to have both.
Got my PC connected to my 1080p beamer so no tnx ;)
I don't mind having Xvid dead but I want 480p MKV in return. 480p looks good enough on 24" Full HDTV and 720p/1080p takes too much bandwidth on my broadband.
So aside from other shows with 480p MKV, I'm stuck with AVI for Index and OreImo.
Usual Mazui XVID quality is comparable to 480p MKVs but Re-Encoding shareraws looked bad, Xvid this time is grainy but not the fault of Mazui.
I can play 1080p fine but expensive broadband in my country forbids it.
Shelling out 39 dollars worth of php for 1mbps+landline(compulsory) aside from sharing net connection = no Full HD for me.
Of course, the "sharing net connection" could be a problem depending on the switch and number of people sharing the connection. You could end up over saturating the network.
sorry but I didn't mention that my "BOX" is a 5 years old pc and if i am to change my video card right now then I would rather build a new one so it's not as "high speed" as you think but I can still play 720p just fine sure I get lags with 1080p but I don't really need it cause a wide screen isn't even compatible in my system
@Anonymouse
I don't know about you but I can download 1080p just fine with my 10mbps broadband connection although I only download 1080p if the video source is BD ironically I could re-encode it but I can't play it cause of my 1gb ram...
It needs to be buried 10,000 leagues under, with no traces left of it to be found by anyone in the near or distant future.
Go to Newegg.com and look for the GeForce 210 or Radeon 5450. They both accelerate 1080p x264-encoded videos, Blu-Ray (including 3D), and your CPU has no load during playback.
Also, you can get an Acer 21.5 inch 1080p LCD monitor for $129.99 on Newegg right now. It's a good monitor.
Drop $170 and you can get a massive performance and visual fidelity upgrade. Do it.
You can't do shit with a computer able to decode ten 1080p streams simultaneously if it's hooked to and über expensive connection with a pathetic 30GB/month data transfer limit.
3 years back I had to "survive" with a 12GB monthly limit (yeah twelve - upload included - you read it right). Believe it or not, I spent 18 months watching ~60MB/episode stamp sized psp/iphone transcodes.
@Ishiro
Ironic how you have 10mbps but not 1080p capable hardware.
Obviously you don't read old comments try reading ok and do you know how much $170 here in our country?, I don't need to upgrade my computer to watch 1080p as I can re-encode them and watch them in our mini theater and besides I don't want to upgrade my computer by asking my parents for money, I buy my personal stuff with my salary and building a new unit is already in the works...
@Nope
you are a sapling into the digital world if your saying that and like what I said try reading older posts...
@Anonymouse
that 10mbps is just for show having a download speed of 25kbps isn't what I call a 10mbps connection but thankfully I can download anything I want without restriction and I don't need my pc a "1080p capable hardware" cause I'm planning on building a new one...
Just know that you're operating on a lot of wrong assumptions, and don't seem to realize just how much of a strange niche you occupy.
There's a reason nobody is catering to you. Also haha @ you talking about AVI being the standard. That hasn't been the case since... about 2007. With corporations btw, not fansubbers. Fansubs abandoned AVI even earlier than that.
This coming from someone who's actually done development work on video encoding software. It's nothing compared to x264 (understatement), though it's still better than VP8 and gets fairly close to VC1 depending on content.
This will be the last time I'll clear up the misunderstanding, I know that Streaming over the my LAN network doesn't affect my ISP. But that's not the problem; To keep things simple, Let's say I'm watching directly on my PC, Downloading it from the net comes first and my 1megabits/sec connection is not up to the task aside from having to deal with sharing the Internet Connection over multiple PCs.
I trust you but it doesn't change my bandwidth so stuck with smaller files I am.
tl; dr ISP sucks in my country and I have no problems streaming files over LAN.
I'd appreciate if Mazui starts releasing 480p MKV @ 170-200mb file size and drop AVI.
give me a list of companies that supports MKVs for their codec and a list of companies that don't(converters are excluded since they support mostly any video format) then I would agree to your assumptions and how early do you think fansubbers abandoned AVI? it's not even Abandoned yet and also I don't need any caterers since I'm confident about it... it's a part of my thesis by the way
Burning AVI to a DVD? Stop being fags and get yourself some sorta output to your TV from your computer.
ISP problems? Get a new ISP.
Fixed, done, and finished. Next in line!
I laughed hard at the comment in fact I'm still laughing while typing this... do you understand what archiving is? have you heard of a MediaPlayer? and do you know the difference in the economy of every country?
student loans don't exist in our country and so is in other countries...
bottom line is...
Haters Gonna Hate... XD
Doesn't make a difference ISP A, B or C and etc.
What's next get a new Country?
Jokes aside, Student Loans don't exist here and Good ISP offers doesn't too. Otherwise I would be enjoying MKV in its 1080p full glory.
Some of these reasons have been covered, but to summarize:
1) Lack of bandwidth/slow connections/transfer quotas.
2) Lack of hard drive space for larger files.
3) Convenience for hardware/standalone players.
4) Insufficient hardware to play h264/720p + insufficient $$$ to upgrade.
I more-or-less fall under (4). My almost-6-y/o PC can kinda-sorta play 720p depending on the encode. But it's a waste of space/bandwidth to DL 1280x720 when it'll just get downscaled by my system to 1024x576.
So I get the low-res versions. If they happen to be XviD/.avi, so be it. Given the choice between SD/XviD and SD/h264 with the same subs, I'd obviously take the h264, no question.
