Usually we'd do some kind of finale post for a series end, but since there are still 4 more BD episodes to come, including the True End, I'll just treat this as the start of a 6 month break for Oreimo.

KaorGreat series,some guy besides baka-tsuki is kinda translating the volumes of the lite novel he's up to 7, loving every minute of it. Great series kinda wish they put out more novels so the series could be longer, crosses fingers for season 2( just hoping).
Kaor I mean I wish they released the series later so the lite novels could give the animators more material for more episodes( I hope a season 2 comes out, crosses fingers).

a lot of people seem to misunderstand this, but tokyo's youth ordinance bil does not ban things like loli. But rather, censoring it from the public making it unavailable for minors. The next 4 oreimo episodes is unlikely to be "banned" because, well, BD/DVD release. Might will have R18 label, but does it matter?

ScruffyI thought the 'good' ending was a bit of a damp squib. I suspect that the extra 4 episodes will be following the novel and she'll head off to America and we'll get more kuroniko x Kyosuke :)

The author seems to put out novels fairly often. We're just digging into volume 5 with the special episodes so it mightent take too long for there to be enought material for another season. I would guess a year.

Nice thing about a popular series from a popular fansub group (and a fast connection) is that it only takes around 7 minutes to download a 200 - 350 MB episode. Keep up the good work!

balibuli@Shadow-F-Asura: Xvid is actually technically inferior to H.264. But as such, it is also less CPU-demanding, and the Xvid releases are in SD (704x400 for Mazui's releases). Thus, folks with old computers which are not fast enough to pull off HD video, can play it.
