Surprise! Here's ep 13, aka kuronekofags rejoice. It actually aired last night, but as strange as it seems, I actually have a day job that I needed to be awake for, so it's a bit late.
Here you go! Episode 13
Again, as with all the extra episodes, they only stream, so we have no ts or any sort of TV broadcast to work with, so it's all SD resolutions. So you only get the XviD for now, and we'll make the HD releases when the BDs come out.
Been a while since we had one of these, but then again, it's been a while since we've seen any new characters in anything.

Good job reading the post and then asking stupid questions. The post says as with previous episode, these episodes are STREAMS. The STREAMS are in 480p and you will NOT get 720/1080 until BD's come out.

You lose video quality even if it was encoded in H264. That's just the nature of re-encoding video/audio content. While the compression ratio is better, the quality difference isn't much. It's not like XviD is completely invalidated by the more advanced H264.
Also, if you'll notice, Mazui is currently the only subber with ep. 13 out. I don't think he wants other groups stealing his work for the moment.
I've been rewatching the episodes a lot recently and I go on Mazui today to find this! This has made my whole month complete. Let's hope I don't get disappointed after watching it.. ^_^

Does anyone know if this was supposed to be released next year? In the beginning when Kuroneko flashes her ID at Kyou it reads:
1996 April 4 birth date
( 平成 8生 4月20日 生 ) and
2012 April 7 issue date
( 平成 24生 4月 7日 発行 )
unless they got the year wrong.

The question was whether this episode might actually have been meant for airing next year as part of a version II. And learn how to spell!

also thanks mazui even though it's xvid and hardsub. i.e. you could shave about 1/3 to 1/2 using h.264 which certainly isn't really an issue nowadays), and hardsub certainly blow though for this res soft sub doesn't make much difference.
but i guess it's to please people who use non-pc/mac to watch this.

"I" could reduce it to about 3/5 to 1/2 of mazui's size, along with some noise and halo. of course some detail have to be crushed but it's hardly a loss on this res.
And yes, let's make the video look shittier! Great idea...
whether it is shittier or not is on the eyes of the beholder, but even if i do not apply any filter it will still smaller than xvid.
anyway, just to be clear I do not condemn this release, on the contrary. I just cannot really understand the use of xvid except to play on those "other" devices without reencoding.

Unless you're doing a lot of bitrate starving though, I think the file size and quality (~200meg) is about right for this release. Just IMO though.
I only posted it for those who were complaining about not having soft subs anyways :P
Btw. when will next ep air? (too lazy to check~)
