If you're the type who appreciates books, I just released a light novel translation of Remembrances for a Certain Pilot" (to aru hikuushi e no tsuioku) that I intend to plug for a while because a ton of work went into it. And it's a really good story too, so give it a shot if you're not ADD!

CerbThx u, thx u. Just wanted to point out a small error. The torrent file has the right name, but the mkv is named "[Derp]_Itsuka_Tenma_no_Kuro_Usagi_-_01v2_[1280x720_x264_AAC][F1C5BF4D]".mkv. It's still the right episode of Waganai however.

In all likelihood, its going to be a 12-13 episode season. most seasons, in their first seasons being aired, are called "pilot seasons", like a pilot episode. the whole season is made and aired and the television companies then decide if the show was popular enough for another season. the original "Green Hornet" show had a pilot season and bombed. but then shows like "WAGNARIA!" do really well and get another season. and another.

so dont feel bad that Boku Ha Tomodachi Ga Sukunai may only be 12-13 eps long because its such a good show, i doubt anyone would say no to it getting a second season =D

Anyone know how or why this episode was encoded or processed differently from all of the other episodes before it???


I watch the xvid avi version on a Divx DVD player, and I usually don't have any problems with watching a data DVD filled with avi's.


Did everything as normal, and ep. 09 played fine as did all others before it, but 10 had sound but no video.


Anyone of the Mazui staff know what was done differently this time?


Would appreciate the reply, and hopefully we can go back to the other methods if possible.

Dark_Pride@EdwardM: Did you check if you have correct CRCs. Seeing as you downloaded it from DDLs, there's a chance that you have a broken download.

I'm pretty sure I didn't do a direct download. - I'm almost completely positive that I used the torrent and double checked it.

I'll try a DDL and the torrent again and see if it changes it.

This should clarify things...
keiI meant that the first "HA" is pronounced as "WA", so when it's shortened to "haganai" does it keep the "wa" sound or change to "ha"?

Not really a valid comparison, since the rules for English acronyms have no bearing on Japanese abbreviations.

は is an unusual case, and I'm not sure what the rule is, or even if there is one. I'd guess it's pronounced the same in the abbreviation as it is in the original.

In my experience it's not uncommon for abbreviations to be stand-ins for the original rather than independent words (for instance, Spanish "bici" has a masculine ending, but it's feminine like "bicicleta").
