I know it's not what you want to hear, but next season's not looking like it has anything interesting that fits our schedule. As is the trend these days, 90% of the shows will be simulcasted, and the remaining ones are either uninteresting or don't suit everyone's schedules. We may take the time to catch up on stuff you guys have been (justifiably) on our case about for a while *coughOreimo*. Alternatively if you have better ideas, I'm all ears!

fotcI'm not a NisiO fan, though Nisemonogatari would have been fun to do. We can leave that in our colleagues' hands---colleagues who are fans of NisiO, of course.

I wanted to do PapaKiki, but once again, schedule conflicts happened. It's a bit of a gamble, since it seems some people are dead set on turning the series into pure service, whereas those who read the novels can tell you that they are quite lacking in that department. Do check it out.

AlexNothing wrong with doing simulcasted shows if you like the show. In terms of scheduling conflicts, so what? Delay the release until you can get a quality sub out and you'll still get people downloading. However, taking a break is understandable and hope to see you guys back in the future if you do take one. Maybe release a few LNs or something? Wouldn't mind reading more that aren't grammar-fail google TLs.

MuyuPersonally, I think you guys should see about working something out for Zero no Tsukaima F. It's unarguably going to be the best anime for the season and only 2 groups have opted in the idea to do it. Commie (nobody cares for them) and SS-Eclipse (they're already a tad busy with real life and have Shana to deal with so they may not be the best choice)

Besides, aside from the one or two gems, most of the time, the subs aren't really that great.

If you seriously think GG or UTW do (lets put it the way you wanted to) shitsubs I'd love to see you try. Whats that? You dont give a damn? Goto a certain crunchybowls or anywhere else and pay $$$.

I agree. Case in point: there's a relatively new fansub group called 'Hadena' which was translating C³ and in the beginning they were getting nothing but flack over at Nyaa for their Engrish fansubs (early ones were rather incoherent and for the fun of it I used MKVcleaver to parse out and re-edit some of the .ass files for my own archives). Rather than blasting newbies because they don't meet some selfish 'standards' wouldn't it be more fruitful to encourage innovation?
