Haruhi 24 final new episode :(

It's been a long journey (some might say endless!) but we've finally arrived at the last of the scheduled new episodes of Haruhi. (Oh, get it here IN HD.) Besides the few of you who've stuck with us since episode 8, you probably don't know that Mazui was formed specifically to speedsub Haruhi. So to see it come to an end (sort of.. I'm not counting the season 1 reruns) is a bit sad.

But not to worry - trolling notwithstanding, Disappearance is bound to come out at some point, so we'll be back bringing you < 12hr Haruhi when the goddess returns. Until then, I hope you stick around for our other releases. Come visit us in irc and say hi to some of the people who've been working all these months to bring you real speedsubs :)

The KWhat's all the rage about? We still got the novels! Still, it is quite depressing that disappearence didn't show up since it was the arc that they originally announced.

By the way, has anyone officially announced how many episodes the second season will have? What if it's like 26 episodes instead of 14? :3

What would be a good service to fansubdom is to release a [Mazui] Haruhi remix which follows the Wikipedia order for the 2009 version but without at least 5 of the 'endless eight' episodes (you could redub what's used 'endless angst'). I'm doing that myself, after converting some old DVD .vob-s from the first release to .mkv-s.

Have you thought about taking out the OPs and EDs in order to make Sigh into the movie it's sort of implied to be? It'd be kind of cool to have someone watch and have them guess where each episode break was. I'd do it myself but I'm not too good with video editing.

Rozeni must say, despite the "endless" trolling of this season of haruhi it impressed me with the last few episodes, this last one especially with the re-hashing of the different views each group has on haruhi.

anonymousIf you guys had subbed 25-28 then you wouldn't have all of these people talking about Disappearance, well if you had just subbed 28 anyway. At the end of the episode it made the announcement that Disappearance is being turned into a movie coming out sometime next year. Now you know ^^
