I would see that coming, with the baseball link with Haruhi. But here's another thing: Jun Maeda has done baseball since CLANNAD(Visual Novel release in 2004). He did it in Little Busters too. Why not Angel Beats? Totally not fair to say it's a copy of Haruhi.

Y'see, my netbook's screen(I think?) does not have a good enough resolution to play those 720x1080p and up animes. I think the resolution's only like... 600 something x 1000 something. Oh well. :D
RhiannOh, guess I should explain what actually happens with 720p videos. The subtitles lag horribly. I know it's not the program I play them on, it's fine on my desktop computer.

Good work on everything nonetheless. Giving the choice of both .mkv and .avis shows pretty great consideration of the group towards their audience. Timing is accurate, great font choices, translations are fairly amazing, especially considering how fast things are put out.

Also another thing I like is that there's no bullshit subtitles put in. You guys deserve praise for your all your work.

Unless your computer is a laptop from 2000 you can play the video with CCCP without any gimmicks mighty fine. If your cpu isn't able to decode the video use dxva if your gpu supports it:

I never download from anywhere but a program's home site (and sometimes Free-codec.com).

Use MPC or MPC-HC to play it. Under Options > Playback > Output choose Haali Renderer or VMR9, click apply. Then go to Internal Filters and make sure that Matroska is UNchecked under Source Filters. Click OK and restart MPC.
ShadowAlso, which version of Core are you running? Version 1.x had ussues with the newer h.264 codecs. I haven't tried ver 2.x yet, so not sure how well that works.

Other then getting CCCP, you can just get MPC-HC by itself:

I've uninstalled Core, FFDShow, Xvid, Divx codecs from my system. I just have MPC-HC and the most recent version of Haali installed:

I actually experienced a similar problem, though mine had only been a skip at the beginning of the OP. (I have a Qosmio X305-Q705, for the sake of reference.) I replaced CCCP with the latest K-Lite package (since I see the last CCCP version was from Sept. 2009) and that solved my issue. I would therefore recommend you try the same.

But what about the xbox coded anime. do you guys think you could do that. i have the 3rd episode of angel beats almost converted to 720 HD. its just my comp takes its sweet merry time converting the damn files (10-11 hours) as you guessed my comp is shit. But nonetheless do you guys think you could post files that are viewable on the xbox. IMTOO is a good program you could use.

dude weaki got it coded u=into a xbox codec and i merged it withg the subs so i can watch it on meh xbox it are teh best. but one problem is the subs, They are way out of "line" (as in in the opening when the jap speak is supposed to be on the top of the screen it's on the bottom. and the font is way to big but ill have to woek somethin g out
amen665im also using mpc w/k-lite codecs... the only problem i have playing this anime is the op. it would go 7 secs in and the audio would go off but come on (repeats). the whole video plays fine though ^^ is it just to HD for my laptop? btw.... love your work!! and angel beats!!
